New to Mantids

Hello! My name is Jamie. I live in Washington state and am currently a student working towards an Environmental Science degree. After doing a bit of online research, I thought a mantis would be a good pet for my current living situation; I have just ordered my first, a H. patellifera nymph, and am very excited to be a part of this hobby. From the little bit of the "lurking" I've done on this site, it seems like a great place to learn more and meet new people.

Thanks for the warm welcome, everyone! I've been perusing the forum a bit today and have already learned a lot more, especially about raising/caring for feeder insects (since this is the thing that seems the most complicated in caring for mantids right now...)
