Just wanted to show off one of my giant asians that I have and I think this is a male by counting the dots it has on it!

Well in the second picture you can barely see these dots that I am talking about!

cant explain Lol but it has like a line of dots and I counted like 6 or so dots on its tail end but maybe counting the dots is not a conclusive way to tell if the asians are male or not!

No, that is not how you tell. A quick look at the bottom of the abdomen will tell you. THose are easy to tell on .

Yeah, I have no clue what dots you're talking about. My baby asians don't have any, now that may be the fact that they're baby but still. Either way, "it" looks like a very beautiful mantis

My Hierodula have a single black dot on each abdomen segment but I wouldn't really use those to sex them as the males don't have them on the last few segments.
