Amazing, the horn on that mantid is even longer than the horn on the Unicorn mantids of the U.S. I'd be nice to know what species that is.

even when translated from japanese to english using bablefish it has nothing on the name of the mantis but in the index does give the names of other mantis in english but only if using the bablefish translator!

Thanks to Christian, Sunny will get more time on WoW, though I'll probably run it by her anyway (she loves to show off!). The binomial means "large" ("macra") "horn head", which seems fitting enough.

The direct Japanese translation would be something like: The Malaysian comb-haired mantis. (hair meaning it's antennas)

It says on the bottom that they are from Malaysia.

It also says that this person has only had nymphs of these species, that they have not reared it to adult, but so far it was not hard to care for. (Although from the pic I feel as though this one is sub-adult, well on it's way to being an adult)

Then this person states that this mantis would take moths (specifically wax moths) and flies more than crickets.

That's pretty much all it says....

I should of said what it was in the OP but i couldnt remember if it was Psuedocrania or Ceratocrania
