Ooth Help!

Hey so i have had my ooths out for about 2-3 weeks i am very impatient and i wanted to know if there are any signs that will tell me how soon they will hatch

No way to tell and nothing you can do. You need to wait about another month.

I've had my T. sinensis ooths since early December and nothing so far. It just takes time. Make sure you spray them often to keep them from drying out. I don't believe there is any way to tell if they are about to hatch.

I bought my, thought to be, chinese ooths from a food store that had a garden center, and they had the ooths in a little cardboard tub and out where people could see them. I bought one tub of two ooths and took them home.

In a couple days one ooth had already hatched out, and it took the other one about another week or ten days to hatch, but you gotta realize, the store had them out already. The store was cool, but not cold, so it already had some 'prehatch' time to incubate.

I have some more chinese ooths in the fridge right now, so when I do those I'll know how long it takes, maybe They'll be outside in the garden area.

Do you have a dog, Emile (this might work with a cat, too, but I doubt it)?

If so, and nothing happens for another couple of weeks, stand in front of the ooth pot and say "Hey [name of dog]! Looks like we've got another ooth that's not going to hatch. Feeling hungry?" If your dog is well trained, he'll wag his tail and lick his lips and scare the little muggers into hatching!

Got to cats but i think they would be too scared they are such babies

If I remember right, Phil sings to his ooths to encourage hatching. But you'll have to ask him if it works... :lol:
