A while ago I had gotten a few ooths from someone from africa that I never met and sadly most of them had a serious parasitic wasp problem and well I got maybe one ooth hatch out of the wasp infected ooths and dont know exactly what species the hatched mantis is but how many other people been sent ooths from other countries and find out half of them were infected and if they had any hatchs out of the infected ooths?But the nymphs are maybe the african chinese mantis or something but will see and maybe post a few pictures of these if any make it to sub adults or something!

not personally ,but ive heard of some that hatch just fine after the parasites hatch and even feed of the parasites

Most all ooths run the risk of having parasites if they are wild collected. If you don't want wasps then buy from a breeder.
well the ooth in question had a very small number of wasps but so far got over 40 nymphs and still hatching but I am not sure of the species but from what I can tell they are black in color with long front and back legs and are around average size compared to like chinese or giant asians!But did have several other ooths of the same kind but looking at those they were loaded with wasps and those ooths were destroyed. I am glad that I saved one of them the nymphs are starting to eat and will be interesting to see what they are when they mature!The wasps were tiny prob the size of a fruit fly or a little bigger but for the most part the ooth that is hatching is what matters!

Get rid (freezing?) of the wasps. Although they may or may not survive here, we sure wouldn't like the introduction of an exotic wasp.
