I really like harvestmen and was thinking about keep a few to observe. If anyone had any info about diet and habitat? It was suggest that maybe I start an aphid farm if I’m going to keep them. Is this necessary? If not, what other feeders you i use  (springtails maybe? )

They will eat fish food pellets, fruit flies, small crickets, and possibly springtails. Coconut fiber would be fine for substrate and some pieces of bark for them to climb on would be good.

Most common species that you can find outside do pretty poorly in captivity though, they seem to be pretty cannibalistic and I believe getting them to oviposit can be challenging.

Vonones ornata on the other hand seem to do pretty well in captivity, and have bred for multiple keepers. They are very interesting looking little things, and are often available at Bugsincyberspace.com, (though they are out of stock atm).
