So I'm new to the hobby, but I plan on eventually getting this species and attempting to breed them in the future, so I figure I may as well just ask now.
I've seen mixed reviews on this species, some people saying it's easy, others saying it's absurdly hard. What makes it hard (I'm not saying I think it seems easy, just want to know so I can prevent it)?
Are there any particular strategies that are more likely to succeed?
Will taping the female's reptorial limbs damage them? I read somewhere that will stop her from hurting or eating the male, but it sounds dangerous, especially if she tries to chew through.
Which species is harder, yellow orchids or Malaysian orchids?
How do rate the yellows and Malaysians, easy, intermediate, diffult, or expert-level?
Thanks!
