Sorry to hear that Peaches is on her way out. But if what you are saying about the inbreeding is true, hopefully you get many more orchids like Peaches.
I've noticed that with most species I begin to see new or more vivid colors after a few generations. That's what happened with the Oxys too. Unfortunately, the next generation showed very little color variation so we'll see if that holds true with Orchids.

Oxyopsis gracilis - color morph mega post!

What variations do you see in the males for this species, too?
Only difference in males is size difference. Some are bigger than normal. Haven't noticed color differences but to be honest I pay way more attention to the females.

Precarious- could it have something to do with your climate too? I noticed you live in PA and the humidity can be quite high during the summer months, possibly replicating their natural environment!

My orchid lady is sorta "peachy".

I think something's wrong with her though. :(

They aren't really exposed to outdoor humidity, but I keep all my matids pretty humid by misting. I think the combination of that, plenty of food, temps only in the 70's, and inbreeding may contribute to the colors.

It's a lot of work to keep the adult females well fed. They can be picky and they go through phases where they won't eat at all.
