I put a couple ooths in one container, I am gettting lazy! and two hatched the same day. Only one, the texan ooth, had one nymph and the macrops had around a dozen, so they are living nicely together, don't know if the texan will ever have the texan draw now! :tt2:

Steals all your macrops babies and then goes back and takes your Texan too for good measure. Such cute little specks.

Haha, yeah! I noticed that when I had both Chinese L1 nymphs and Egyptian L1 nymphs (in different houses, of course!). The mios always had their little butts up, but the Chinese never really did.

looks like the mantis been feeding in the same hatching container too :) lucky each species didn't hatch hundred  or you be busy looking at their butt  to tell the difference.

haha, yea Yen, I noticed today in another macrops container at about 4th instar there was another texan, just one, in with the macrops! Guess their ooths are starting to look the same, next thing u know, I will be selling Mystery ooths

Phil, YOu must have a fever! :D

Speaking of ugly ducklings, Tinkerbell, one of the macrops I got from you just shed last night into an adult. Everything looks good, but her wings came out wonky. The outside set is perfectly flat but her under wings curled so the outer set didn't close, leaving her little nub wings all spread out. I guess she wanted to make sure everyone knew she is really a fairy so she decided to show off her itty bitty fairy wings.

You do, she keeps flexing them and fluttering them whenever I walk by. I wasn't even sure the species could move them since Hocus Pocus never once so much as twitched hers.
