Other mantids causing stress?

So I was reading a thread on the Reddit mantid sub & someone commented that a mantis shouldn't be able to see other mantises because it will cause stress and could cause a mis-molt. Is this true? All of mine are on the same shelf in screen enclosures or 32oz deli cups. Am I causing stress because they can see each other?

Mine are all on the same shelf too, I haven't had any problems. If see one constantly going crazy because it spots another mantis, then yeah, you should move it. Otherwise it should be ok.

Same with me, I keep mine around each other. Besides the uncommon particular individual who obviously need their own space and is happy to sit in a thread pose for hours I haven't have any issues.
