Hi,

Our new nymphs just had 1st successful molt, "Look mom there are two of them now!"

How long should we leave them alone before feeding, touching enclosure, adding humidity?

He/she did a great job and we don't want to screw it up lol.

Thanks for replies

give them a good 24 hours before messing with anything. Just so they have time to dry!  :)

Kind of nervous can we wait 48 hours lol? Or are they hungry after all that hard work?

48 hours is fine. Most mantids won't eat for at least that long after a molt, especially young ones.

My African Twig fell in the middle of the night. :( Looks like he landed on a real touch super soft flower then his coconut substrate. He is our only twig so hoping he still makes it. 😭

So far all our ghosts are coming through molts with flying colors! After I posted about the 1st one molting they all decided to have a 'molt party' 🎂🎁🎉
