just wondering if anyone got a mantis that looked dead after recieving it during cold weather and if they ever came back to life if they looked lifeless as I got some dead leafs and suppose to get them in three days but ended up getting them in four and hoping maybe if they get warmed up they may come back!

I had a double shield I named GriM that arrived frozen. I brought her back with heat... Heavy breathing and stuck her under a light while doing so. Though I'm sure it was a one time deal.. You could try it if need be?

The same thing happens with roaches. I left some large blaberus giganteus outside over night and they looked dead at first but they soon came back to life that very morning, but I think it depends on the size of the insect and species. The smaller tropical insects can survive a over night chill, but smaller tropical insects or nymphs can't. But then again it's best not to take my word for it. I'm speaking out of experience not fact.
