Over fed?

Twiggy girl has gotten enormous!! She eats everything we offer her, possibly due to her being wild and starving when we found her? Is she too big?? She ate a spider yesterday after having 3 or 4 days without.

She looks pretty healthy to me. Females can get really fat, and generally overfeeding isn’t really an issue at the adult stage with Europeans.

Thanks I’ve read conflicting info about it, how often / much should we be offering her food?

 Just feed her whenever she starts looking skinny. Her current size is a pretty good guideline as to how large she should be.

She may be getting ready to make ootheca. My African mantis does the same thing, getting fat just before making an ootheca.
