Nice shots, thanks for sharing. I agree with Meagan, this is an awesome-looking species. I hope to raise em someday.

It looks like it's posing for you.

Oxys are cute. I'm surprised they aren't as popular as ghosts. They seem to be pretty hardy, and the colors are great.

Yesterday I was packing an order that included some Oxy nymphs, and one got away. I couldn't locate it. Today my order of flies from Rebecca came. I opened the package and left the container of bb fly larvae on the counter while I went to take care of something else. When I came back in the room, the missing Oxy nymph was staring in the container with the moving larvae. It was really cute.

I thought I'd read somewhere that they aren't communal.. But I guess if they are, even better..
They are communal with reason, so technically they are not communal like violins, but if you keep the well fed then you should have almost no cannibalism. Also a lot of room is good for when you are keeping them together, lack of food and no space causes cannibalism in most cases, at least i have noticed.

Nice shots!

There is a female sub Oxy sitting on my head right now. I love these guys.

If anyone in the US is interested I have a few sub-adult pairs available.

And, yes, they are just as communal as Ghosts. Which is to say, separate the sexes once they hit L4 if you want to make absolutely sure you don't lose any. Personally I keep a group of 20 or more and I don't notice if I lose a few to cannibalism.
