Cummon guys! Whoever said that humans can "smell" human pheromones like androstadienone, let alone those produced by insects! I think that the mistaken idea comes fromthe fact that purported human sex pheromones are included in many perfumes and are absorbed through the nasal mucosa (didn't we talk about Jacobsen's organ a while back? I'm too lazy to check) but that does not mean that they stimulate the olfactory nerves.
Right now, I am cooking "baked" apples in a slow cooker with raisins and cinamon and a chicken roasted in the oven for 5hrs at 250F for my cookingly impaired son and DinL. No pheromones that I know of, but they sure smell good!
