Here is a few pics of my L2 Phyllocrania paradoxa. Don't know how everyone gets clear photos. Had trouble getting the camera to focus on him and he moves a lot.

I love this species as well but I hate that they mate in the dark ....so i don't get to see....

He has a real personlity. He will run up and down my arm and if I'm walking he will bat his arms in the air. He is also very curious about his envionment and watch thin outide his cup. When I take off his lid he will sit on the rim of the cup. I need to go through this forum looking for tips on photography. I can't get my iphone to focus on something this small and the nikon point and shoot (coolpix L20) had issues with his dark coloring.

I just assumed he was L1 when I got him then he molted once here. Glad to know his is L3. Is there a guide that shows pictures for each stage?

He looks L3 to me too. You can tell if it was L1 by looking at the legs, L1's don't have the little lobes on their knees.

Tammy has a thread call "L1 Comparison" that has a fresh ghost, I think.
