One of a hundred Chinese Mantis Nymphs that hatched from an ootheca I bought.

Cute!  Are these L1?  I got mine at L3 so I haven't seen L1 or L2 yet.

Yes they are L1, they are just starting to eat.

I had a couple oothecas and I released all but 6 of the first hatch, and the second hatch (original pictures) happened a month later.  I almost gave up and was going to throw it away.  Those guys will also be released soon into my garden.

Aw they are so cute! Great pictures too, I always have trouble getting pictures of tiny things. But you got them perfectly!
