Please could you identify this mantis?

Hi, my Brother brought me this lovely mantis back from a show he went to. It was sold as a Giant African mantis (female).

  I was wondering if anyone could tell me the Latin name ? It has shed three times since he brought it to my house. The last time was last night and it seems to have tiny wings, does this mean it is now pre adult ? It is around three inches long and my wife has called it Lady. ??.

Adult female Parasphendale. Most common in the hobby are P. affinis and P. agrionina, but there are also sometimes species sold that haven't been identified yet.
