Hey,

After a long time without posting anything, I will try to document the breeding of this nice species.

They mated on first of December and hopefully the first ootheca will be lay in a couple of days.

regards Marius

Best of luck Marius, and they are a great species. A nice photo of the event too. I really like all the tree branches/limbs in the tank as it gives them plenty of climbing options, ooth laying locations, or in the case of mating more places for a male to flee. :)

I had a pair of them for a few molts, until a member who really wanted to breed them talked me into trading them to him. ;)

Hey,

So after almost 4 weeks and another mating my female decided to lay a big ootheca :)

Hey,

The ootheca hatched with around 100 nymphs yesterday. Also my female laid her 3rd ootheca yesterday.

Here some pictures of the hatch ( sorry for bad quality)

Grats. Now to round them up and count them.

"Hey You!         5th row back 9th from the left.  Stop Moving!"

Nuts Lost the count, Again.

Hey guys,

The second ootheca hatched yesterday and I got the chance to take some pictures while hatching. :)

I hope you enjoy it.

regards Marius
