Polyspilota griffinii newborns

Just had an ooth from SilentDevill hatch. Love these guys, haven't had a single casualty yet, knock on wood. Anyone know how big they will get? (there doesn't seem to be much consensus on the interwebs)

This is how big they get and when adult I was sad with all the Griffin i had I couldn't raise a green female ...

No is Griffin . marble and Griffin is 95% look like .... but bigger ... That's what i said to you before if u have both sp ... no point keeping both just keep griffin ...

I got a huge female from mantisplace and she was huge! She was bigger and more bulky than my valida female. I named her Tank cause she was like one, unstoppable. She was going to do what she wanted.

I think 2 or 3rd..but at adult..they change light brown...maybe u can get a green adult good luck

I never kept Polyspilota griffinii so I don't know if this also applies to them, but my Polyspilota aeruginosa (Giant Madagascan Marbled Mantis) nymphs had some really nice colors. I regret letting the culture die out.

Ya Henry Polyspilota aeruginosa they have good color at Nymph stage but same as griffins but.. 95% turn out brown .. I only had 1 female turn Green Polyspilota aeruginosa.. Griffin has green as well but i was not able to raise a green griffin no luck i keeped 30-40 griffins all made it to adult .... even at sub adult they are green ... so soon they molt to adult goes light brown .. Here is some one had a greed female griffin ... I love the color but never got to see one my self ...

Thanks. Good to know. I'll have to try griffins again sometime. Figures Kitkat ended up with a green one. He has a green fetish!

Ya ask Tammy I send her 3 Griffin Ooth pretty sure when it hatch she will have some Nymph for ya

Molting to L2



Albert looks like I got 2 green nymphs at L2. Can't separate them out from the rest for pictures yet, but I will soon.

Ya they will be Green at nymph stage, the hard part is at adult if the green will stay haha .
