Mated three females and two ate the male's head. One male connected after loosing his head and half of its thorax, but maiting continued for 8 hours. The smallest male was the only one that survived the romantic encounter.

Bad sticks, no eating your lovers. At least it looks like they were able to get the job done.

 
I had read about cannibalism occuring during coppulation, and that no male brains are needed for this job other than as an offering to his Amazonian partner. I just was not aware that the male can loose his head first, and minutes later coppulate. NOW, on his part, that is truly a no brainer.
