So first off I spose i'll do some backstory since I haven't been on much in the past few monthes. I had a pair of idolos a while back i got to adulthood and bred. My female produced one ooth and passed while trying to lay her second. Well the first ooth did hatch. It was a little dissapointing, but a hatch nontheless. 5 emerged and only 3 made it out of out of their little egg sack membrane thingy(I hate looking up the technical terms for this stuff). 1 got cannibalized after molting to 2nd instar. So now I have 2 females remaining, at L6 and L7.

Now for my little problem. The L6 has one of her leg leaflet thingys folded in half. I expect she should be coming up on her next molt here in the next week or so. So I am wonderin if ya'll think this could possibly cause a fatal mismolt? I am hoping not as it seems flexible. I am able to manipulate it with a bamboo skewer. Anyhow here are some pics.

I am no expert, but they separate from their exoskeleton completely before sliding out of it.. So I would have to guess it will come out soft and harden they way it is supposed to with no issues.. other thoughts?

I feel the same way it, but it is always reassuring to hear it from others. I was also hoping somebody might have seen something similar.

No worries, it's a non-issue she'll be fine, the next molt should straighten it out but either way it's no cause for alarm what so ever. ;)

Now if her raptors come out sideways you got a problem, lol.

Caught her molting and took some pics. In the last pic you can see the crease didn't go away but did get better.
