very cool looking roach nocticola flabella a troglobite looks predatory but supposedly eat biofilm according to the one and only kyle

. Anyways,i heard that genetically and other traits these roaches are a possible missing link to roaches and mantids due to them not containing the same bacteria as other roaches and gluing ootheca rather than dropping it .like a mantis . FullSizeRender (1).jpgIMG_4847.JPGIMG_4854.JPG

i literally couldnt find any other documents on it so thanks :) although i did read somewhere that they do cement but probably not this specific type

 
Well they probably still glue the oothecae to a surface like some roaches, just after it is already hardened. I saw these in the "Guide to the Cockroaches of Australia", i love the fact that only the mouth-parts and the genitalia are sceloritized. Never thought they might be predatory. Does Kyle have these?!

sadly no he only has access to the species in universities and this species isnt in the hobby.he also deoesnt have a permit to globally trade
