Attempt 7 and 8 of pairing my spinys... well this was a bust.... (Cautions, Loud Video)

The female matured 9th April, male matured 6th April, its close to 2 months...

Could the female be due for an infertile ooth? and she just needs to pop it out her system first before I try again? or should I just keep trying till I get lucky?

the female didn't feel like mating in the vid I think i would react the same as you when I see a female attack my male

Spinys tend to be aggressive during mating. I was lucky to get a mellow female, but most females aren't.

Another day, another disaster...

Are 2 months about the time for an infertile ooth to be laid? They have connected before, but it’s barely even 5 minuets, so I doubt anything can come from that.

Ya, it's probably time for an ooth. 5 minutes could be enough, so don't like hope! It's very unlikely that she's fertile though.

Guess I'll leave her be for the following few days, and see if she poops an ooth out. Once that is done I'll reintroduce him and see.
