Great photos - really does look like a alien

I see where it gets the name with those spines on it's abdomen, but what a crazy bullseye too. Who large is your mantis in the photos?

I'll be interested to see whether the female is significantly larger, this male is just a hair shy of two inches, not counting antennae.
