Question is Hierodula unimaculata is that a Communal species ??? Cause I Orderd an Ootheca from Frey. Wanted to know so I can plan ahead find a big home for them if they can be kept together ..

 
agree with jeff... must be prepared to house anything from this genus individually. I'm no expert but i'm more sure of this than what day of the week it is :)

 
With mantids it is best to assume none of them are communal. Few really truly are.
