Rhombodera stali growth rate?

hey all

i got 3 L2 stali nymphs about a month ago

they r at room temp and one molted to L5 today

is this a normal growth rate for them??

The first molt seems to take a long time, but after that, they grow up quickly. I think one of my nymphs from that same ooth (sibling to yours) could be an L5. It's hard for me to keep track as I have so many mantises right now.

well the L5 is a male so that might explain part of it...

I got an L3 rhombodera stalli nymph around July 16th and she just molted to L5 a few days ago.

i got the L2s on the 26th

i think they indeed grow very quickly. according to my log, my male molted to L3 on 7/15, L4 on 7/27, L5 on 8/7, and then L6 8/18. more or less, every ten days.
