One of our 2 S. Limbata ooths hatched out today! (I am at my office so I suppose it is happening still). This ooth was laid Oct 5 by a wildcaught mantis my wife named Zinnia - found on a Zinnia bloom in our back yard. Ooth was incubated at 84 degrees farenheit and humidity c. 60% (moisture foam in bottom of 32 oz deli cup).
At last count there were about 13 nymphs. They are green and about 1/3 to 1/2 inch long. They have long legs and are suuuper fast.
I was beginning to wonder if the ooth was fertile, i guess it was!
