Scare.

Thought it was stuck molted but it waa just full lol.

Bugsey's fine quite a scare with nightmares crying on and off all day. Made me realize just how much i love this little guy,has helped me. Alot,i have ocd and before i got him i was in a rut washing my hands alot of times. Made my hands raw,now their back to normal. Hes a good distraction,also made me realize what i need to improve. Making sure the cage is moist enough,so for when the time comes for it to molt i will be ready.

I had a touching moment,i held the critter keeper eye level. Had started crying told her i got scared today when i thought somthing bad had happened. Told her i loved her and when her molt comes i need her to fight. That i cant lose her i havent been that happy in along time. She moved from the top of the cage to where i was eyelevel. Touched my side of the bars,and looked me in the eyes. Made me feel better. She listened the whole time.

I hope you can do well with her, you need another one right now so you can have one to fall back on if something

happens to her. Praying for you. Also get a little lid and soak a small sponge with water and set it in its contaniner.

I agree totally, especially about getting another mantis.

Jessie, please remember, these are short lived life forms. No matter how much you love it and care for it, it has a short life span. So having another will give you not only 2 to care and learn about but one to help you get over the passing of the other. That short time to me that is a plus as I can over time work with many different species, one at a time if I choose.

Praying for you, too. I agree, you need to get another mantis. A Ghost would be good since they are good for beginners. Your first mantis will always be special, but like Zeppy said, they are short lived.
