Senior Years Ponder

Ponder (Parasphendale affinis) at seven months old. She's produced two perfect ooths - sterile, unfortunately. Here, she enjoys a warm, humid spell in mid-August. I put her in a thicket of bushy flowers on the deck. Within 30 seconds she had a big fat bumble bee in her raptors. She stayed there for hours (and so did I, making sure she didn't go off for adventures).

Oh so true. Here she is, newly arrived as an L3 back on January 30th. About 12 - 15 cm as I recall.
