Sexing my vinegaroon

My Local Fish Store was selling vinegaroons! Finally decided to go for it and Inbought one but I have a few questionsHow large do they have to be to be full grown? I believe it’s 3” but mine is currently 2”. Also, is it possible fo sex them at this size? Thanks!

I would guess female based on abdomen shape, but I think the only way to tell for sure by external morphology is by looking at the underside of the abdominal segment closest to the thorax.
