I had four L2 or L3 ghost nymphs in a 32 once deli cup; they molted the other day and now I noticed that there's only three in there. I thought these lil guys aren't very cannibalistic, but anything's possible I guess.

Should I separate them and place them in individual 32 delis?

I've lost 2 out of 8 to what I think is cannibalism. I didn't find any bodies. I don't have enough cups to separate them, but I might do it if I did.

That is way too small for four mantids of any size or species. Split em up.

When I raise Ghost nymphs communally, I usually start them out in a multiple 80 ounce deli containers or a 12 x 12 net. I've also used a terrarium once they get big enough to eat bb flies. They usually aren't very cannibalistic if given enough space and food, but there is always a chance.

I just keep mine separate from one another, when I tried them communally they didn't look very happy when they came across another.

Ok.... I have 5 new 32 oz deli cups. Can someone show me an example of cloth mesh & where I can purchase some today?

I just got back form Home Depot & their screen holes are too large...fruit flies can escape. A large hole in the deli cup cap plugged with sponge isn't enuff ventilation, huh...? I just need to improvise until I order some enclosures next week.

You can just put each one into a 32 oz. The typical 32 oz deli cups have lids available that have cloth covered holes.
