So I went to transfer Zorak, my ghost mantis, from his main enclosure to his feeding cup. On the way there, lil' fella leaned down and started munching on my thumb's skin. At first it was a light tickle but after half a minute or so it became a sharp tickle. I've read that it could mean he's thirsty, although that's odd since I mist his enclosure daily.

This is generally a sign of mild dehydration, but as the others have said a good spray usually does the trick.

The thing is is that I spray his enclosure daily. Actually I sometimes feel I spray it a little bit too much through the day. I've never really seen him lean down to drink from a droplet or anything,
