Some critters from my culture:

Pseudovates arizonae, L3

And Ephestiasula pictipes, L1. You can compare sizes, the flower on which she sits is the same as in the photo above :)

In fact... it is about the size of a D. hydei female :) But these little guys can hunt D. melanogaster, so the prey more than half their size :) Of course Bolbena takes all the prizes for the most minute species in culture, but other boxer are not so far behind :D

Your lucky that your little guys can eat melangaster. It can be a real pin feeding a L1 Bolbena. :rolleyes: How many milimetes long are your little guys at L1?
