Albert - what camera; what lens for the macros?
the Pic taken by my Samsung Galasy S3 .....with Macro lens upgrade ..... is just a cell phone ... the 100mm 2.8 L lens i order is still shipping I wont get it next till Monday or Tuesday. but I'm having a hard time learning how to use my Canon T4i ..... still learning ..... If i spend 2.2k buying this camera and and lens and not sure how to use it and what it can do ... I'll be pissed lol ....

The first side pic looks like m. religiosa. I never had all the fancy macro stuff, so I couldn't see how m. religiosa's eyes looked. I remember the dots behind the eyes, but i couldnt see the spots on the forearms.

When theyve dried out, post a pic. Dried out m. religiosa nymphs look dark brown, almost black.

sinensispsyched is right. It's a mantis Religiosa Ooth. Here it is my best close up pic of a nymph when the exoskeleton hardens.

Thx for clarifying. It looked like m. religiosa, but w/o the macro abilities in my possession I couldn't see how disproportional m. religiosa's eyes are.
