They have the sweetest personalities. Very curious and fun to interact with, not skittish at all. And not very aggressive. Every time they look at me, it's like they're smiling, with their red outlined mouths. I know, they can be compared to the very sinister Joker villain. But I tend to think of them as...less villainous.

I see their wingbuds swelling, won't be long until adult. But I heard they're hard to breed. =/

Why is that? Are the females really aggressive? Or is it hard to get a fertile oothecas

Someone else who has them said the females are aggressive and the males are skittish and get easily freaked out.

So far my subadults are pretty mellow, but who knows. I don't know if their temperament will change once they reach adulthood.

I find it interesting how there temperment can just change from one instar to another. Iv read about this on a couple threads. Wonder if someday someone will be able to explain why this happens
