Spider friend for an arachnophobic

I found this little gal on my kitchen door. Her abdomen was flat as a pancake, so I knew she was hungry. After coaxing her into a container, I gave her a bunch of D. melanogasters, which she gobbled down with great enthusiasm. Salticidae are great fun to watch stalking and pouncing on prey. Her abdomen was much changed - like a balloon - after her feast.

Yes, and maybe even deadly.

Tarantulas aren't deadly, unless, perhaps, you're allergic to the specific venom. But if jumpers were Ts...........I'd have to burn the house down.
