Spiny Flower mantis color

This is sort of random, but how do people get their Spiny Flower mantises to be so purple?!?!?!

I know there are pictures on the web of purple spinys, but I've personally never seen that deep of a color on a spiny IRL.

I think a lot has to do with humidity... and or colors in the environment..

The age old question of color is back again! Lol

An experiences hobbyist once told me to help promote conditions that would allow a mantis show variety in color, you should spray/mist the environment daily.

My thought is water would make them believe plants are growing and food would be plentiful, so they can express all the color to attract all the food and not have to worry. Good luck!
