Stag. Californica ooth (what do i do?)

I found it in the wild. Planning to put it in a 32 oz cup with napkins or coco husk on the bottom for humidity. What else am i missing?

The ootheca is insulated to protect it from freezing and dessication. This allows it to overwinter so the mantids can hatch when the weather won't kill them and when temperatures are reasonable enough that there are enough insects available as prey.
