Mantids are found everywhere here, if you search carefully =DThe most common species here on my state is Stagmatoptera binotata, the same as the pic. =]That's a big mantis! Nice find! ....being in Brazil, Im assuming mantids are a common sighting?
It's a rare color morph of this species....I really dunno how to send ooths from brazil xPCan you ship ooths out here? Love this genus. By the way, is this the same species? It was found in Guyana. Maybe a different color morph?
To say the truth, I agree with you xDMaybe because they're so common here...Maybe I'm missing something really important here, but why is everyone so enthralled with Stagmos? I mean, they're cool, but they're standard mantis cool. not anything way crazy as far as I see. Could someone fill me in?
This isn't stagmomantis like what we have in North America, it's just spelled similarly.Maybe I'm missing something really important here, but why is everyone so enthralled with Stagmos? I mean, they're cool, but they're standard mantis cool. not anything way crazy as far as I see. Could someone fill me in?
