Hello all,

I would like to get a breeding pair of Carolina mantids. I would be really happy if anyone could help me. It doesn't matter how mature or immature they are, even a mated female would be great.

Hi, I have 3 mature males and 1 immature female. Ive been looking for more females without much luck, males seem to be easy to find though.

Hi Ray,

I have 4 mature females and 2 mature male Carolina mantids. I have mated all of the females with my males, and two have laid ooths (one has laid 2, and one has laid one). I live in Bloomington, IL and these were all native caught by me locally.

I have just ordered 2 Giant Asian and 2 Ghost Mantids... looking forward to expanding my horizons with other than locally caught species. I was planning on releasing about 4 of my Carolinas back into the wild soon to make room for the new arrivals coming. But if you'd like them, I'd be happy to help. Let me know if you are still interested in aquiring some Carolinas.

PS... I'm attaching pics, hope they go through. Two pics are of one of the brown females (I have 3 brown females and 1 green female). The males are both kind of brown and green... one of the pics is of a male in his cage (the males like to fly around, so I didn't get them out to take pics).
