Step by step cute Mantis

Step 1 - take out one of your mantids (preferably one that is thirsty).

Step 2 - bring him/her to a water faucet.

Step 3 - turn on the faucet so that a little water comes out

Step 4 - show your mantis the water

Step 5 - watch. Mine tried to climb the water, then decided to have a drink :wub:

Oh my goodness! So adorable! When you see water, the obvious reaction is to... WHACK IT! :boat:

"Just keep swimming, just keep swimming, lalalala LAAAAA!" Easy to imagine the little chameleon thinking that.

Was s/he trying to climb up the water "pilar"?

I love this! And the chameleon was adorable too!

In terms of mantises, I've very suspect of the water coming out of my tap where I live... high in chlorine because we've got a semi-eutrophic watershed.
