Is it actually dangerous to place mantis eggs in direct sunlight? I got an ootheca from Insect Lore from my mom for my birthday recently and the instructions had this warning in it: Do not place egg in direct sunlight. Is that actually dangerous for the eggs? It's way warmer outside than inside right now, especially in the sun. . .  no idea how to finish this sentence.

Don’t keep anything that is alive in direct sunlight besides some plants.

I dont know if it hurts them as some we see on the side of our houses, but with a place inside there really no reason to place in the sun.
