Tenodera nymphs and bowed legs

I always encounter this problem with a few sinensis nymphs each year. Even with adequate conditions it occurs. Perhaps we need to look into why this occurs in the first place.

Do you have a picture of it? I'm trying to think of why but can't adequately picture it in my head.

Not currently, but to get an idea, it is predominant in the last pair of legs, often bowing when being pulled from the molt.

Indeed I always get some, and the problem occurs on their last pair of walking legs too. It also seems to affect the last nymphs that hatch, so my assumption has been their legs get tangled in the large mass of empty threads from their earlier hatched siblings.

It happens for me when they hit l2. Always a few that do it. Sometimes never fixed xD

Ah at L2 it would be something else, no idea on that problem.

It is rather strange, and I haven't seen this issue in other species either.

Is it dehydration? Too fatty a diet? Im sure with some Im very sure its from faulty dna. That happened to one of mine. Her siblings did great but she just couldnt do it. The exoskeleton did not come off her head. The third time it was the worst so I gave up hope.
