Just got that male Praying Mantis I needed, but for some reason....His right claw looks deformed. So if that'Z the result of a genetic defect....I'm left wondering if breeding him with Toradora might be a bad idea....

Tomorrow Toradora will have been fully grown for exactly four weeks. On top of that, me and a friend both have off from work. Sounds like the best time to get that over with once he comes over. If Toradora's anything like her mother, this will be interesting.

Do you have pictures? I haven't seen a deformed mantis make it to adulthood so most likely it's the result of a molt going slightly wrong, shouldn't be an issue :)

I’d say he should be fine! Just be sure to give her plenty of distractions that will help the male get on all right. Good luck and keep us updated!
