Here's a nice little story I forgot to post when it happened.
I was packing up my stuff from the apartment after graduation. At the time I had some budwing ooths hatching, so I split some of the nymphs up into cups for the ride home. Everything was cleaned out and packed into my car, I said farewell to the university and I was homeward bound.
It's around a 3 hour drive from school to home, so I stopped to get gas and a coffee. I also stopped at Barnes and Noble for a book I wanted to pick up. The minute I stepped into my house, my dad pointed out a small black bug on my dark shirt. It was a budwing hatchling!
I checked all of the cups and cages. None were open. This thing must have ridden on me the whole 3 hour car ride, along with the stops to get gas, and into Barnes and Noble.
Today my little buddy has grown into a strong subadult female
