Found this plump gal hanging around my back door today, offered her a cricket for a snack.

Nice big Carolina female. I've got two females (One brown, one green) and each one has an ooth. One of them is like 99% guaranteed fertile (I mated the brown one, green one was caught when pregnant).

Nice one. We're supposed to have them locally but I've never seen one. Lots of Chinese though.

Thanks! I find them around my house every once in a while in the fall, so will need to keep an eye out for any ooth sacs. She is quite the beauty!

I like how she is brown, but retained the green tibia.

I have never had one with that coloring.

I released 5000 chinese nymphs in my woods and havent saw any yet. But i see carolina 15+ every night on my poarch and around my house. I even have them lay ooths on the sides of my house lol.

She looks just like mine! except my mantis' thorax has a blueish tint and doesn't have the beautiful green tibia, just brownish grey.
