My violin mantis Asgor has officially died today - my first one to die of old age. I'd had him 9 months, and he had been an adult for 4 of those months. He was an irritating little guy, derpy in all those mantid ways. I'm pleased he had a long life, hopefully a happy one. It's now time to pin him so I can put him in resin. There is some movement left but I suspect that it's just the remains of his nervous system shutting down - nevertheless, I've put him on my windowsill on a nice plant so he can enjoy one last sunset.

As if I wasn't sad enough, I also finished Red Dead 2 today...

Thanks everyone! He's now been drying for over a week and I'll be casting him in resin tomorrow. His sibling is still a subadult and has been for the last 162 days - I assume that this means he isn't going to have his adult moult and will just cop it one day. It'll be cool to compare an adult and subadult I guess, I've no idea why he won't moult...
