I have a wild S. Limbata that is obviously gravid and I am having trouble getting her to lay. Any advice on the conditions that S. Limbata prefer for laying their ooth?

I've found sticking them in a spotless net cage with no oothecae stains always gets my girls going. Something about messing up my pristine net cages sends my lady mantises' abdomens a twitter.

On a more serious not, some tricks you can try is re-ranging the decor, adding more sticks/plants/etc. If you have some large decorative plants in the house you can try letting her out of the cage on those. Upping the humidity and temps can also sometimes help.
