I have a mantis which hasn't molted in around two months.  By the state of his wings he should have one final molt left.  Earlier this evening I put a cricket in his cage and he didn't seem too interested though seemed to go for it once (might have been more of a swat).  This might be a sign that he is finally about to molt, I am just wondering if anyone has had similar experiences or any idea why this might happen?  Also I have kept him on what I'd consider a fairly restricted diet since he has been having issues for the past month or so with a bent abdomen (keep having to place his enclosure on it's side).

That is great news, congrats!  I know there can be individual variation in molting times even among the same species, and it seems like sometimes they really like to test our patience.
